Some youths in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State,
\nunder the auspices of Ekiti APC Youths Congress (EAYC), have commended
\nthe State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, for returning to the Senator
\nrepresenting Ekiti South Senatorial district, Biodun Olujimi, food
\nitems she delivered to some Local Government party secretariats of the
\nAPC as Covid-19 relief package.<\/p>\n
They said that sending over 2,000 packs of food items to Olujimi in
\nher hotel was the best way to tell the Senator that \u201cin APC, we have
\nenough food to eat; we don\u2019t need your miserable food items.\u201d<\/p>\n
The APC youths, which insisted that the foods items were Greek gifts,
\ndeclared that Senator Olujimi must stop patronizing the APC in Ekiti
\nState as she is not wanted in the party.<\/p>\n
According to a press release issued by the youths on Thursday, and
\njointly signed by Mr. Tope Ogunkuade and Comrade Tunji Adeleye, EAYC
\nConvener and Secretary respectively, \u201cby delivering over 2,000 packs
\nof food items to a hotel in Ado Ekiti, owned by Senator Olujimi,
\nGovernor Fayemi has demonstrated that he is a listening governor, who
\nwill always defend the integrity of the APC and its members.\u201d<\/p>\n
They however urged the governor to clear the air on the allegation
\nthat he sold Prince Adeyeye\u2019s mandate to Senator Olujimi because of
\n2022 governorship.<\/p>\n
The EAYC insisted that it was an insult for someone who used her
\nmanipulative ways to snatch the Ekiti South Senatorial seat from the
\nparty\u2019s original winner, Prince Adedayo Adeyeye, to now turn around
\nand be dropping food items at our party secretariats for distribution
\nto our members.<\/p>\n
The youths said the APC Local Government chairmen, who accepted that
\nthe food items from Senator Olujimi be delivered to the party
