If you are from an oil producing country with corrupt leaders you have
\nto be very worried.
\nToday, the price of crude oil for the first time since her discovery in
\nmany parts of the world,\u00a0 went\u00a0 (negative) -$10 US Dollars \ud83d\udcb5 a barrel.
\nIt\u2019s a catastrophic decline that will make it to the Guinness books of
\nworld records.
\nIgnorance does not deliver anyone, but good leadership does.<\/p>\n

This novel, catastrophic and negative oil price digit, will affect every
\nfacet of our society because we have failed to plan for many years.
\nFrom one administration to another, it was looting upon looting, the
\nmonster of (this is our chance) or this is my opportunity to loot my own
\nshare of the National cake have deprived the ordinary man and the
\nsociety at large the enabling environment to strive to its full
\npotential.<\/p>\n

It is because of days like this that Norway \ud83c\uddf3\ud83c\uddf4 saved a huge percentage
\nof her oil revenue for her future generations because they forsaw that
\ntechnology will send crude oil into the paths of coal, but we didn\u2019t
\nknow that oil doom was not far away.<\/p>\n

However, even if oil prices recover from this negative bottomless pit of
\nhell that the evil corona virus \ud83e\udda0 sent it, it\u2019s only a matter of time
\nbefore technology take its place and send it back there.<\/p>\n

This reality is unavoidable.
\nOil producing and other developing nations, need leaders who can think
\noutside the box like Joseph in the biblical days of King Pharaoh and
\nmore recently leaders like the King of Saudi Arabia \ud83c\uddf8\ud83c\udde6 who only recently
\nmadebthe Saudi oil company a public company by offering shares to the
\ncitizens and other interested parties globally. The company Initial
\npublic offer (IPO) was made\u00a0 public in 2019 because they knew the doom
\nday of oil was not far away.<\/p>\n

If Nigeria \ud83c\uddf3\ud83c\uddec and other oil rich producing nations fail to go back to
\nthe drawing \u270d\ufe0f board and plan for their nation now, it\u2019s only a matter
\nof time before we become the East African nation of Zimbabwe \ud83c\uddff\ud83c\uddfc , where
\nthat nation no longer have a currency of their own, but rely solely on
\nthe US Dollars \ud83d\udcb5 for the exchange of their local goods.<\/p>\n

Zimbabwe like many countries have no oil or needed mineral resources to
\noffer the international market.<\/p>\n

The Islamic Republic of North Sudan \ud83c\uddf8\ud83c\udde9 became extremely broken after the
\nbreaking out of South Sudan \ud83c\uddf8\ud83c\udde9 .<\/p>\n

South Sudan \ud83c\uddf8\ud83c\uddf8 went away with all the oil blocks leaving the Northern
\npart with no resources , the people were confronted with extreme poverty
\nand the centre could not hold as because things\u00a0 fell apart, that led to
\nthe ouster of President Bashir of Sudan.<\/p>\n

For many oil producing nations, it will take drastic and bullish
\neconomic approach to figure it out with adequate planning.<\/p>\n

I just weep for my country Nigeria \ud83c\uddf3\ud83c\uddec.
\nIt\u2019s unfortunate how we have mis-managed our oil revenues and
\nopportunity to develop the country since 1960.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s on records that since 1960, over 75 percent of Nigeria oil revenue
\nmysteriously find their way into the bank accounts of some corrupt
\nformer military leaders and politicians.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
