…Says It’s Time National Assembly Members Got a Dose of the People’s Wrath<\/p>\n
The Conference of Nigeria Political Parties (CNPP) has strongly lashed
\nout at Nigerian legislators who it accused of working to impose a forced
\nvaccination law on the country, warning that “it’s about time for the
\nNational Assembly got a dose of the Nigerian people’s wrath”.<\/p>\n
The CNPP in a statement issued by its Secretary General, Chief Willy
\nEzugwu, accused the lawmakers of hiding under the lockdown measures to
\nengage in impunity.<\/p>\n
The umbrella body of all registered political parties and political
\nassociations in country also accused Nigerian legislators of taking
\nbribe from vaccine producers.<\/p>\n
“We have watched with uttermost dismay the speed with which the
\nlawmakers are working on a bill to use Nigerians as guinea pigs for the
\nforced testing of Coronavirus disease vaccines and endanger the lives of
\nover 200 million citizens.<\/p>\n
“If the lawmakers want to truly justify the bribe they have taken from
\nforeign producers of COVID-19 vaccines, they should make a law that will
\nprovide for compulsory vaccination of all the legislators in the
\ncountry as a way of proving their patriotism to the Nigerian federation.
\nLet them volunteer to be the guinea pigs.<\/p>\n
“It is even more shocking that the Nigerian legislators have not thought
\nof a law to force electricity distribution companies in the country to
\ncompulsorily install prepaid meters in households across the country but
\ncan force citizens to be vaccinated.<\/p>\n
“We recall that Bill for the unbundling of the NNPC, the cash cow of the
\nnation and Bill to end gas flaring in the country are there laying
\nfallow in the achieves of history, yet, because of insatiable appetite
\nfor wealth propelled by uncommon greed for mundane things of life, the
\nlawmakers want to turn Nigerian citizens into testing animals for
\nvaccines producers now and in the future.<\/p>\n
“Why is the lawmakers opting to work against the interest of those who
\nelected them? Why will Nigerian legislators chose to fulfill the desires
\nof those who cultured and infected the world with Coronavirus disease
\nfor economic gains? Are the national assembly members telling us that
\nthey are not aware that COVID-19 virus ravaging the world is not
\nnatural?<\/p>\n
“Why not a Bill for an Act to compel Federal Government of Nigeria to
\nfund research for local production of infectious disease drugs and
\nvaccines? Are we lacking experts in any field as a country?<\/p>\n
“Many Nigerians have long claimed to have developed cure for COVID-19
\nand other infectious diseases, where are the inputs of the National
\nAssembly members towards ensuring that every Nigerian with a claim to a
\ncure of any infectious disease gets his or her claims verified by
\nrelevant authorities and certified rather than selling the country
\nwholesale to western nation and their multi-million dollar corporations?
\nThey won’t because such local inventors cannot afford millions of US
\ndollars with which to grease the filthy palms of most lawmakers.<\/p>\n
“The Republic of Madagascar recently dared the World Health Organization
\n(WHO) and their collaborators by developing locally made COVID Organics
\n(CVO) for cure of Coronavirus. Right now, the use is expanding to other
\ncountries after Madagascar had only 149 cases of COVID-19 with zero
\ndeath record.<\/p>\n
“In addition to the COVID Organics (CVO), already being marketed in the
\nform of herbal tea in Madagascar, a new injectable solution of the same
\nproduct is under clinical trials in the lying off the country
\nsoutheastern coast of Africa with a population of just 27 million
\npeople.<\/p>\n
“It then beats the imagination of any sane person that the Nigerian
\nlegislators will be this greedy for material acquisition, even at the
\nexpense of the Nigerian people who elected them.<\/p>\n
“All Nigerians, the media, and all civil society organisations with good
\nconscience should immediately stand up against this evil legislation in
\nthe works because everyone will become their guinea pigs and a tool for
\ntesting vaccines for deadly all ailments, now and forever if the bill is
\npassed.<\/p>\n
“May be Nigerians have forgotten so soon how a secret trial of a
\npharmaceutical drug in Northern Nigeria killed several children. The
\ncompany involved, Pfizer, was sued after 11 children died in the
\nclinical trial when the northern state of Kano was hit by meningitis
\nepidemic in 1996. But Pfizer only paid compensation after 15-year legal
\nbattle for illegal clinical trials.<\/p>\n
“The intolerable Bill for an Act by the Nigerian legislators to make
\nsuch killing of citizens a legal act must be resisted now or we will all
\ndie in like manner someday soon”, the CNPP warned.<\/p>\n
