The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has, again, clarified that<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

the Hon. Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Ali
\nIbrahim Pantami, was never involved in the process of offer of office
\nallocation to the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) at the NCC’s
\nCommunications and Digital Economy Complex located at Mbora District,
\nAbuja, as the public is being made to believe.<\/p>\n

The Commission reiterated this position in a press statement signed by
\nits Director Public Affairs, Dr. Henry Nkemadu, in which it made further
\nclarifications to the members of public and other stakeholders on the
\nsituation.<\/p>\n

“For the avoidance of doubt, the Honourable Minister of Communications
\nand Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, was never involved in
\nthe offer to the office space, nor in the withdrawal of the offer for
\nsame office space.\u00a0 The Minister should not, therefore, be brought into
\nthe issue,” he said.<\/p>\n

According to Dr. Nkemadu, the decision to withdraw the offer of office
\nspace from NiDCOM was purely of the NCC, the custodian of the office
\ncomplex.<\/p>\n

“It should, however, be made abundantly clear that the withdrawal of the
\noffer of the office space, which was unconditionally given, in the first
\ninstance, to NiDCOM, was informed by exigencies and change in priorities
\nwithin the NCC, which led to the taking back of the office space earlier
\nallocated with intention of finding a suitable replacement for NiDCOM,”
\nhe said.<\/p>\n

The Commission, therefore, reiterates its confidence in the leadership,
\nperson and office of the Honourable Minister of Communications and
\nDigital Economy, Dr. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
