Following the recent presidential approval for the re-organization of<\/div>\n
\n
the Nigeria Police Force which included the creation of an additional
\nDepartment \u2013 the Directorate of Intelligence, expansion of the Police
\nzonal structure from 12 to 17 and the creation of two (2) additional
\nFCID annexes, the Inspector General of Police, IGP M.A Adamu, NPM, mni
\nhas ordered the posting\/redeployment of AIG Adeleye Olusola Oyebade,
\nmni, and AIG Ibrahim A. Lamorde, mni to the Department of Research and
\nPlanning and Directorate of Intelligence, FHQ, Abuja respectively.<\/p>\n

Prior to this posting, AIG Adeleye Olusola Oyebade, mni was a Directing
\nStaff at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru,
\nJos while AIG Lamorde, a former Chairman of the EFCC was the AIG
\nin-charge of Force Intelligence, according to a statement signed by
\nForce Spokesman, DCP, Frank Mba.<\/p>\n

According to the statement, “the IGP has equally ordered the positing of
\nthe following Senior Police Officers to the five (5) new Police Zonal
\nCommands as follows: AIG Zone 13 Ukpo-Dunukofia (Awka) \u2013 AIG Dan-Mallam
\nMohammed, fdc, AIG Zone 14 Katsina \u2013 AIG Rabiu Yusuf, AIG Zone 15
\nMaiduguri \u2013 AIG Lawal Ado, AIG Zone 16 Yenagoa \u2013 AIG Austine I.
\nAgbonlahor, fdc, AIG Zone 17 Akure \u2013 AIG David Oyebanji Folawiyo, mni<\/p>\n

In the same vein, CP Asuquo A.A Amba, former Commissioner of Police,
\nEkiti Command takes charge as AIG of the new FCID Annex Gombe; CP
\nOlafimihan A. Adeoye, former CP Federal-SARS takes charge as the AIG
\nFCID Annex Enugu while CP Uche J. Anozie, fsi, former CP Cross River
\ntakes charge as AIG FCID Annex Lagos.

\nThe IGP charges the affected Senior Officers to bring their wealth of
\nexperience to bear in their new places of assignment. They are to ensure
\nthat policing is brought closer to the people and work with relevant
\nstakeholders to tackle crime and improve on policing services across the
\ncountry.<\/p>\n
