{"id":74862,"date":"2020-07-15T14:48:57","date_gmt":"2020-07-15T13:48:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=74862"},"modified":"2020-07-15T14:48:57","modified_gmt":"2020-07-15T13:48:57","slug":"magu-probe-fg-suspends-efcc-secretary-olanipekun-11-others","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/magu-probe-fg-suspends-efcc-secretary-olanipekun-11-others\/","title":{"rendered":"MAGU PROBE: FG Suspends EFCC Secretary, Olanipekun, 11 Others"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m2731329625377487869\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\">The Executive Secretary of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Olukoyede Olanipekun, and 11 others have been suspended with immediate effect in what appears to be a clean sweep.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<p>The notice of suspension was communicated to the Acting Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Mohammed Umar, on Tuesday night by the Office of the Attorney-General of the Federation.<\/p>\n<p>Pointblanknews.com investigation reveals that Olanipekun is a front of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who worked in his Law Chambers in Lagos.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, Magu was suspended and the agency\u2019s Director of Operations, Mohammed Umar Abba, was appointed to oversee its operations.
