In its efforts to provide succour and give comfort to the Persons of
\nConcern (POCs) in the country, National Commission for Refugees,
\nMigrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI), under the leadership
\nof Honourable Federal Commissioner, Senator Basheer Garba Mohammed has
\ndistributed items to IDPs in Kaduna, Kwara, Sokoto and Plateau states.<\/p>\n
NCFRMI Honourable Federal Commissioner, Senator Mohammed disclosed this
\nin a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity,
\nSadiq Abdullateef, on Tuesday in Abuja.<\/p>\n
According to the statement, the items disbursed include food items,
\nclothes, educational pack, water sanitation items, shelter materials,
\nagricultural inputs and palliatives.<\/p>\n
The beneficiaries include over 5000 IDPs from Kajuru camp in Kaduna
\nstate; over 3,000 IDPs from Ilorin camp in Kwara state; over 7500
\ndisplaced persons from Goronyo and Dan Tsako camps in Sokoto state and
\nover a 3,000 displaced persons from Jos camps in Plateau state.<\/p>\n
NCFRMI Honourable Federal Commissioner, who was represented by the head
\nof Refugees unit of the commission, Dahiru Bagiwa said, the commission
\nis planning to build the first NCFRMI Resettlement City Development
\nProject in several states so as to relocate the country’s over 2.4
\nmillion displaced persons with the support of President Muhammdu Buhari
\nand the Humanitarian Minister, Sadiya Umar Farouk.<\/p>\n
Other representatives are; Head of the North-West Zonal office, Nasiru
\nMuhammad for the Sokoto state distribution; Senior Admin Officer of the
\ncommission, Aisha Muhammad for the Kaduna state disbursement and an
