{"id":75086,"date":"2020-07-27T16:16:07","date_gmt":"2020-07-27T15:16:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=75086"},"modified":"2020-07-27T16:16:07","modified_gmt":"2020-07-27T15:16:07","slug":"southern-kaduna-igp-orders-full-enforcement-of-curfew","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/southern-kaduna-igp-orders-full-enforcement-of-curfew\/","title":{"rendered":"SOUTHERN KADUNA: IGP ORDERS FULL ENFORCEMENT OF CURFEW"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of efforts at restoring law and order in parts of Southern<br \/>\nKaduna affected by recent violence and other security challenges, the<br \/>\nInspector General of Police, IGP M.A Adamu, NPM,mni has directed the<br \/>\nCommissioner of Police (CP), Kaduna State Police Command to ensure full<br \/>\nenforcement of the curfew imposed by the Kaduna State Government.<\/p>\n<p>A statement signed by Force Spokesman, DCP, Frank Mba, said &#8220;The CP is<br \/>\nequally to ensure optimal deployment of both human and material assets<br \/>\nof the Intervention Squad currently on the ground in the State to<br \/>\nsafeguard lives and property of people in the communities.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The CP is to personally coordinate the operations of the Intervention<br \/>\nSquad in carrying out collective and holistic tasks of ensuring peace<br \/>\nand safety in the communities. The Squad comprises the Police Mobile<br \/>\nForce (PMF), Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU), Police Special Forces,<br \/>\nDetectives\/Intelligence Operatives as well as personnel of the Kaduna<br \/>\nState Police Command, the Military, and other security agencies.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The IGP commiserates with the people of Kaduna State, particularly<br \/>\nthose who have lost their loved ones and property as a result of the<br \/>\ncrises. He assures that the Force will do everything within its powers<br \/>\nand means to ensure that peace is restored in the affected areas.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Meanwhile, the IGP enjoins the people of Kaduna State to cooperate with<br \/>\nthe Police, the Military, and other law enforcement agencies as they<br \/>\ncarry out the full enforcement of the curfew amongst other measures<br \/>\ndirected at ensuring their safety.
