Africans must unite for meaningful developments<\/p>\n

The Action Democratic Party (ADP), has hailed the decision of Africa
\nDevelopment Bank’s investigative panel, for declaring the President, Mr.
\nAkinwumi Adeshina clean of any wrongdoing.<\/p>\n

Akinwumi Adesina, as the president of the Africa Development Bank, has
\nbeen exonerated of all charges by the independent review panel led by
\nMary Robinson, former president of Ireland, which the party said, it was
\ncommendable.<\/p>\n

ADP said, despite some whistleblower allegations of favoritism, which
\nwas leveled against Adesina, allegations that had been cleared earlier
\nby the ethics committee of the bank., which the new panel has further
\nlent credence to.<\/p>\n

The party said, Adeshina while serving as a minister of Agriculture in
\nNigeria, proved his worth, selflessness, hard work, and honesty, which
\ngave rise to a boom in food sufficiency in the country at that time.<\/p>\n

His ascension to the top AfDB job, was over his track record, which has
\ngreatly given a sharp high trajectory, in the progress recorded so far
\nby the continent’s bank, calling on all leaders in Nigeria and across
\nAfrica to keep rallying around him for successful leadership at the
\nBank.<\/p>\n

ADP said further that, for meaningful developments to ensue in Africa,
\nthere must be unity of purpose, stressing that unity in diversity is
\nstrength, and that, such will help the continent to develop along with
\ntrade, technology, health care, Agriculture, and shore up their economic
\npower.<\/p>\n

The party would want PMB and other leaders on the Continent to mobilize
\nall efforts and ensure Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala’s bid for the top job at
\nthe World Trade Organization – WTO succeeds. Africa and in particular
\nNigeria deserve more of these international leadership positions to
\nguarantee the sustainable development of the huge human and material
\nresources on the continent for the benefits of Africans and the world in
\ngeneral.<\/p>\n

The party equally said, it would continue to support good causes and
\nNigerians who are making their fatherland proud, wherever they are
\nacross the world. Urging young people, making great exploits in science
\nand technological advancement, medicine, gaming, Fintech, and other,
\nhome and abroad to continue to do so, while charging others, to see
\nthose doing well as a role models.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
