The Concerned Academic Staff (CAS) of Tai Solarin College of Education<\/div>\n
\n
(TASCE), Omu-Ijebu, said that they have no confidence on College’s
\nProvost, Dr. Lukman Adeola Kiadese and they all passed a vote of no
\nconfidence on him, as he has started lobbying for the second term as
\nColleges’ Provost, urging the government-led by Dapo Abiodun to turn
\ndown the aspiration.<\/p>\n

The Staff Union of the institution and management-led by the Provost,
\nhave been on warpath in the last three years over issue bordering on
\nwhat they termed as non-payment of their salaries, poor welfare
\nconditions, harassment of both Academic and Non-Academic staff and
\nmismanagement of College’s funds among other issues.<\/p>\n

Addressing journalists at a press briefing, held in Ijebu-Ode, the
\nChairman of CAS, Mr. Ade Balogun said that the Provost could not pass an
\nintegrity test if conducted on him, noting that he has been lobbying
\nfrom politicians and political appointees to be appointed for the second
\nterm as Provost of the College.<\/p>\n

Balogun alleged that the Provost, Kiadese spent close to N70Million on
\nSallah for political appointees, buying them rams and other gift items
\nto celebrate Eid-El-Kabir, saying that Provost was a prodigal son, which
\ndeserves no second term in office.<\/p>\n

He said that it was wrong and unacceptable by the entire staff of the
\ninstitution, for the Provost to have spent such a huge amount of money
\nfor Sallah, while the salaries and other benefits of the College’s staff
\ncould be met by the institution’s management.
\nHe added that the State Government has refused to promote them in the
\nlast seven years, noting that TASCE Governing Council was only after
\nimposing Kiadese on them as second term Provost of the College.<\/p>\n

According to him, “Dapo Abiodun-led administration has promised to put
\nan end to TASCE problem and restore her lost during 2019 electioneering
\nperiod, but to our surprise, nothing tangible has been done as the
\nadministration continues the payment of half salary to the staff since
\nMay 2019 till date”.<\/p>\n

He said that the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has not paid any amount
\nout of over 60 (sixty) months salary arrears owned TASCE Staff by his
\npredecessors, noting that they were not paying June and July salaries.<\/p>\n

He said that the present administration of Dapo Abiodun government now
\nowing them 5 (five) months salaries in his 14-month old administration,
\nsaying that it was contrary to the promises made by the governor.<\/p>\n

He further alleged that Dr. Lukman Adeola Kiadese never qualified for an
\nappointment right from day one, noting that he has once heavily indicted
\nfor financial recklessness, administrative ineptitude among others.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, all calls and text messages put across to the Provost of the
\nCollege, Dr. Lukman Adeola Kiadese, to react to all these allegations
\nwere proved abortive, as he didn’t pick calls nor response to the text
\nmessages, as at filling this report.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
