In allthe intrigues that had characterized the past months, a lone voice of reason had repeatedly expressed his esteemed voice of advice and direction regarding the steer of the election for a better life for all.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<p>Chief John\u00a0Odigie\u00a0Oyegun\u00a0<wbr \/>painstakingly have showed a more silent yet influencing posture toward the election, a characteristics that has always defined his personality and political acumen over the years of his services as\u00a0ExecutiveGovernor of the state and later as National Chairman that led the ruling party to its first win in Nigeria. His posture of decency and admonition\u00a0for\u00a0a peaceful election with Edo indigenes voting with their conscience on hand, serves as a\u00a0well-definedpathway of electoral victory for sane minds in the state\u00a0to achieve.<\/p>\n<p>Chief\u00a0Oyegun\u00a0had left in the trails of his esteemed career a string of\u00a0empowered individuals, an array of distinguished personalities\u00a0and\u00a0a wide dragnet of political followership who testifies of his outstanding pact with decency and truth wherever it matters most.\u00a0Upholding the true tenets of democracy where the life and need of the lowest of the masses is touched and influenced positively\u00a0is always what this seasoned elder stateman stands for.<\/p>\n<p>It is of little wonder he describes the unfolding events as primitive where individuals tend to want to force their personal interests and desires on the generality of\u00a0Edolites, forcing the fortunes of an excellent and working government into a possible oblivion and\u00a0the general suppression of good governance, common\u00a0decency, principled leadership, and protection and upholding of democratic rights.<\/p>\n<p>Chief\u00a0Oyegun\u00a0has done so much to uplift the betterment of Edo state with his personal and collective action and experience while holding sway to public life in the\u00a0history\u00a0of the state. It\u00a0behoves\u00a0on\u00a0Edo citizens to look at the reflection of his life and democratic principles as compared to certain others\u00a0grandishingabout in the state\u00a0and claiming to know it all,\u00a0and use such appraisal to heed reason and collectively walk in the direction of same.<\/p>\n<p>It would be common\u00a0sense\u00a0for\u00a0community leaders, youth groups, women organizations, religious bodies and\u00a0the\u00a0wholestate to listen to the words of\u00a0wisdom\u00a0from a true democrat and living legend of politics in Edo state and come out in one accord,\u00a0massively\u00a0and\u00a0deployin<wbr \/>g\u00a0their conscience to vote rightlyin\u00a0choosing\u00a0their own\u00a0governor\u00a0and no one else\u2019s choice this coming Saturday the 19th\u00a0Sept, 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The fact that a\u00a0LEGEND\u00a0like Chief\u00a0Oyegun\u00a0has spoken, we expect\u00a0a clear reflection of the people\u2019s choice in the election on Saturday with the freewill and rights of the good people of Edo state showcased in the outcome, where a government for the people and by the people will be allowed to serve.<\/p>\n<p>Engr.
