The calm, experienced and matured voice and counsel of the only true democrat and leader in Edo state, Chief John Odigie Oyegun resonated through the very fabric of the edosociety, leaving behind that needed steer the masses were in dire need of.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<p>Chief\u00a0Odigie\u00a0Oyegun\u00a0may not have been on various cameras and platform canvassing for the truth, where anti democratic forces were hell bent of trumping\u00a0Mr. Godwin\u00a0Obaseki\u00a0from the APC in other to issue him the\u00a0so called \u201cAmbode\u00a0Treatment\u201d\u00a0as acclaimed to some dethroned political light weights in today\u2019s\u00a0Edo state, but his\u00a0steady\u00a0insistence of truth, rule of law and democratic practises saw him speaking same to the powers that be in\u00a0Abuja, an action that\u00a0contributed in\u00a0compelled the outcome of an excellent\u00a0electoral\u00a0exercise\u00a0b<wbr \/>y all stakeholders\u00a0comprisingof\u00a0<wbr \/>INEC, Security agencies and community leaders of all divides.<\/p>\n<p>Chief\u00a0Oyegun\u2019s\u00a0single act of speaking for\u00a0Governor\u00a0Godwin\u00a0Obaseki,\u00a0d<wbr \/>espite\u00a0his decamping to the opposition and his decision to\u00a0stick\u00a0by him through all the turmoil\u00a0showcases\u00a0a true leader that\u00a0believes\u00a0in the ability of truth trouncing all that is\u00a0associated\u00a0with falsehood.\u00a0Thereby liberating the very Edo society that had\u00a0hitherto\u00a0felt that truth\u00a0can never be made to survive in our society.\u00a0Thereby, displaying the\u00a0just concluded Edo state elections\u00a0as\u00a0a new era\u00a0not only for Edo state but also Nigeria,\u00a0with a clear dispensation of Justice and Truth,\u00a0clearly midwifed by Chief\u00a0Odigie\u00a0Oyegun\u00a0and other stakeholders of like mind within and outside the state.<\/p>\n<p>With the\u00a0unexpected\u00a0loss that hit the APC in\u00a0Edo\u00a0state, calls for sober reflection and a need to look inwards towards party supremacy,\u00a0and the\u00a0irreparable damage\u00a0individualistic ego and gangsterism brings upon its fortunes. Stakeholders and the powers that be in the Villa that sits on the rock would be wise to use the Edo experiment and know the right stateman and political elder to approach, that posses the pedigree of truth and political sagacity in analysing and advising them as a party as they move forward towards 2023 and burdened with the sad reality of choosing a presidential candidate from the various powerful\u00a0blocks\u00a0that are\u00a0seemingly\u00a0in\u00a0mad\u00a0contentio<wbr \/>n\u00a0with each other\u00a0to outwit each other\u00a0within the same group.<\/p>\n<p>It would be of immense wisdom for Gov.\u00a0Godwin\u00a0Obaseki\u00a0to nourish and appreciate this\u00a0priceless,\u00a0great elder statesman who unlike any other,\u00a0stood by him even when he crossed the sea to the other side, by honouring him for service and truth to Edo sate. The diaspora family know one\u00a0thing\u00a0for sure, the LEGEND did speak and the people listened and voted right.<\/p>\n<p>Engr.
