Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu illegally took over Lagos State Governor\u2019s Lodge, demolished it and spent over N25billion to remodel and furnish the former 5-bedroom detached house located at Oyinkan Abayomi, (formerly Queens Drive), Ikoyi, Lagos, Pointblanknews.com<\/a>\u00a0investigations have revealed.<\/div>\n

This is even as the former Lagos State Governor and leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, allegedly lost over $500million stashed away in several banks in Lebanon.<\/p>\n

Sources conversant with the deal told\u00a0Pointblanknews.com<\/a>that Tinubu had blackmailed former Governor Babatunde Fashola to award him the property which had long been the accommodation of previous Lagos State Governors.<\/p>\n

After successfully arm-twisting Fashola to acquire the property, which was then worth N450million, sources confirmed to\u00a0Pointblanknews.com<\/a>\u00a0that Tinubu then made Gov. Fashola to pay for the property using Lagos State government funds. The payment was said to have rolled over to immediate past Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.<\/p>\n

Pointblanknews.com<\/a>\u00a0gathered that as soon as the property was paid for, Tinubu immediately employed the services of Dori Construction and Engineering Company Limited, owned by an Israeli.<\/p>\n

The Construction Company started the remodeling of the property, demolishing the 5-bedroom and putting up another building which has cost over N25billion to complete and furnish, according to a source who is a close ally of the APC National Leader.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Tinubu is said to have lost over $500million laundered through his long-standing business partners and friends, the Chagoury brothers (Gilbert R. Chagoury and Ronald Chagoury) in Lebanese Banks following the collapse of that country\u2019s economy. The Chagourys and Tinubu are co-owners of Hitech Engineering, a civil engineering company, at the heart of most construction works in Lagos and some South West states where Tinubu exercises his political influence.<\/p>\n

Lebanon’s biggest banks, including Blom Bank\u00a0BLOM.BY<\/a>, Bank Audi\u00a0AUDI.BY<\/a>, Byblos Bank\u00a0BYB.BY<\/a>, Bank of Beirut\u00a0BOB.BY<\/a>\u00a0and SGBL (Societe Generale De Banque Au Liban SAL), all ran into trouble following the country\u2019s economic meltdown in early 2020.<\/p>\n

Blom Bank, one of Lebanon\u2019s largest, had lowered its weekly withdrawal ceiling from $2,500 to $500 for depositors with less than $100,000 in their accounts. At Bank Audi, the limit is $300.<\/p>\n

Sources told\u00a0Pointblanknews.com<\/a>\u00a0that most of the funds stolen from Lagos State by Tinubu ended up in Lebanon through a money-laundering scheme put together by the Chagourys.<\/p>\n

Tinubu and the Chagoury\u2019s are long time business partners. They are joint owners of Hitech Engineering which has been involved in major construction jobs in Lagos State. Choice jobs like the multi-carriageway Airport Road and the commercialized Lekki Roads are a few of the many construction jobs executed by the company courtesy of Tinubu\u2019s vice grip on successive Lagos governments.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
