The Nigerian Army has said that the Boko Haram attacks are an
\ninternational conspiracy to \u201ccut Nigeria to size\u201d and to destabilise the
\npeace of the country.<\/p>\n
The Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col Sagir Musa, stated this,
\nclaiming that there are some international paymasters sponsoring Boko
\nHaram.<\/p>\n
Musa stated this in an article he shared on social media and with
\njournalists.<\/p>\n
The army spokesman said, \u201cThe recent killing of our people on a rice
\nfarm in Borno State was unexpected, inhuman, cowardly, dastardly and
\nsadistic cruelty by the Boko Haram terrorists. There is no normal human
\nbeing that will take pleasure in such inhuman massacre of defenceless
\nand armless civilians, working on their farms; but that is the nature of
\nterrorism and those who sponsor it.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is an international conspiracy to cut Nigeria to size and
\ncompromise national renegades making attempts to destabilise and
\ndismember Nigeria if possible in subservience to the international
\npaymasters; who are the owners of Boko Haram. They train them, arm them,
\nfinance them and supply their logistics.<\/p>\n
\u201cWithout this treacherous international support of Boko Haram; they
\nwould have since been defeated. Yet, we can defeat them through our
\nunity and unflinching support and encouragement of our security forces,
