President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with the family and friends
\nof former presidential aspirant of the then All People\u2019s Party, Harry
\nAkande, praying that God will comfort them at such a difficult time.<\/p>\n
The president, in a statement by his spokesman, Mr. Femi Adesina, joined
\ninternational and local business partners of the deceased, management
\nand staff of his companies, and all beneficiaries of his foundation in
\nmourning the public-spirited investor.<\/p>\n
He noted that the late renowned business mogul had over the years
\nregistered his kindness in helping the deprived and underprivileged.<\/p>\n
According to him, Akande\u2019s role in the nation\u2019s development remains
\nremarkable and commendable.<\/p>\n
He particularly commended Akande\u2019s contributions to infrastructural
\ndevelopment by ensuring extension of basic services to communities
\nwherever he invested, and continually expanding his interests in
\nconstruction, electricity, and healthcare.<\/p>\n
