The recent appointment of our legendary elder statesman and political leader, Chief John Odigie Oyegun as Chairman reconciliation committee of the ruling APC showcases a party and a government that is beginning to learn from its mistakes and hearken to words of wise counsel.<\/div>\n

Chief John\u00a0Odigie\u00a0Oyegun\u00a0is not only an extremely versatile and experienced politician by virtue of his advance age or multiple leadership position he had successfully held\u00a0in the past 6 decades but what completes him as a perfect politician with the acumen to conveniently help the ruling APC achieve its sought reconciliation would be his soft skills with includes humility, kindness, acceptance to all, desire to help younger ones grow, open door policy to all and sundry and above all the fear of God Almighty that compels him to say and stand by the truth when all others falter towards a lie.<\/p>\n

The most recent appointment of the Mai Mala\u00a0Buni\u00a0led\u00a0caretakercommittee of the APC has tried in working the party towards the right direction with an acceptable platform of re-registration of party stalwarts. The collective working relationship of the\u00a0Buniled committee and\u00a0the\u00a0Oyegun\u00a0led reconciliation committee will be the signet of ultimate attraction that the APC so needs to navigate all existing inter an intra problems the party seeks to correct as the\u00a0much-taunted\u00a02023 election year approaches.<\/p>\n

For a fact, the ruling APC sees the invaluable and sterling qualities of his excellency,\u00a0Chief John\u00a0Odigie\u00a0Oyegun\u00a0hence the prompt need of placing noble leadership responsibility roles on him with the clear expectations of resolutions being sought and being delivered on all tasks\u00a0similar to\u00a0all the past ones\u00a0this great leader had handled in the past decades.<\/p>\n

The inability of the APC to have stopped the unfortunate displacement of Chief John\u00a0Oyegun\u00a0from the chairmanship position some dark years ago led to the increase in the barrages of problems and crisis that beclouded the great party. It was only when the NEC took the bold step to remove the cause of the lingering problem that the APC was able to achieve some stability in the stormy waves they were plagued with. With the most recent appointment of Chief\u00a0Oyegun\u00a0to chair the reconciliation pathway, clearly indicates the APC is now sailing on its destined\u00a0navigational\u00a0course towards a victorious 2023.<\/p>\n

The Nigerian community\u00a0in North America\u00a0felicitates with Chief John\u00a0Odigie\u00a0Oyegun\u00a0on this new responsibility bestowed on him to help nurture the ruling party unto the desired state where good governance will be naturally exhumed for Nigerians\u00a0and for their use. We also strongly commend the ruling APC for harking to the repeated letters and publications we sent in, showcasing the inherent qualities and skills this elder statesman possesses,\u00a0of which the party and Nigerians stand to gain, and keeping him close to service by saddling him with the chairmanship position of the much-needed reconciliation to make the 2023 electoral victory a reality.<\/p>\n
