Bawa Bwari, Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC) Membership<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal  \">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Registration and Revalidation Committee for Oyo State on Tuesday said<br \/>\nthat the ongoing exercise was aimed at strengthening the party.<\/p>\n<p>Bwari made the assertion on Tuesday in Ibadan after handing over of<br \/>\nregistration materials to the state caretaker committee.<\/p>\n<p>The APC National Caretaker Committee had ordered fresh membership<br \/>\nregistration and revalidation in the party.<\/p>\n<p>Bwari, who was represented by Mr. Ahmad Sajoh, said the ongoing<br \/>\nmembership registration and revalidation exercise was to sanitize the<br \/>\nparty and have a comprehensive data of its members.<\/p>\n<p>He called on party faithful and intending members to seize the<br \/>\nopportunity offered in the ongoing registration as well as revalidation<br \/>\nexercise.<\/p>\n<p>Bwari explained that the ongoing registration and revalidation exercise<br \/>\nwould move the party from the analogue system of the past to digital.<\/p>\n<p>He maintained that this new registration and revalidation would go a<br \/>\nlong way to eliminate any fraudulent practice in future as it relates to<br \/>\nparty membership.<\/p>\n<p>Bwari expressed satisfaction with the cooperation received by the<br \/>\ncommittee from all the party stakeholders in the state.<\/p>\n<p>He said that all that need to be done had been done to ensure a<br \/>\nsuccessful exercise in Oyo State.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, all the officials that would register people have been<br \/>\ntrained from local government to the unit level. All the stakeholders<br \/>\nare on the same page in this exercise.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can assure you that no one will be left behind. All segments of the<br \/>\nsociety will be registered during this exercise.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said that at the end of the exercise, all registered member would<br \/>\nreceive a unique membership number different from others.<\/p>\n<p>Bwari said that the exercise would afford everyone the opportunity to<br \/>\nparticipate fully in the affairs of the party without any<br \/>\ndiscrimination.<\/p>\n<p>He enjoined all intending registrants to shun suspicion and embrace the<br \/>\nexercise with open mind.<\/p>\n<p>Bwari assured that the Monitoring committee would be on ground to take<br \/>\ncare of any challenges during the exercise.<\/p>\n<p>He appealed to the media to be objective in reportage of the<br \/>\nregistration exercise, saying that the media should help to publicize<br \/>\nthe success of the exercise across the state and Nigeria as a whole.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Akin Oke, the State APC Caretaker Chairman, described the<br \/>\nnationwide exercise as a huge success.<\/p>\n<p>He called on members and prospective members to participate in the<br \/>\nexercise to become bonafide members of the party.<\/p>\n<p>NAN reports that the materials received were immediately distributed to<br \/>\nthe 33 local governments in the state.
