{"id":79521,"date":"2021-04-07T00:55:53","date_gmt":"2021-04-06T23:55:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=79521"},"modified":"2021-04-07T00:55:53","modified_gmt":"2021-04-06T23:55:53","slug":"gunmen-burn-down-another-police-station-in-imo-state-moments-after-osinbajo-ex-igp-visit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/gunmen-burn-down-another-police-station-in-imo-state-moments-after-osinbajo-ex-igp-visit\/","title":{"rendered":"Gunmen Burn Down Another Police Station In Imo State Moments after Osinbajo, Ex IGP Visit"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Gunmen have razed another police station in Imo state few hours after Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and outgoing Inspector General of Police (IGP), Muhammed Adamu left Owerri, the Imo State capital.<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Osinbajo and other officials of the Federal Government, including Minister of Interior Rauf Aregbesola, had visited the state to inspect the level of damage on the burnt security facilities.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The gunmen burnt down Ehime Mbano Local Government Area Divisional Police Headquarters shortly after Osinbajo and Adamu left.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>It was gathered at the police station that the gunmen freed all suspects in detention before setting the Police Divisional headquarters ablaze.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>It was also gathered that the gunmen operated without any resistance from policemen.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>A source said: \u201cGunmen\u00a0<a dir=\"ltr\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">this evening<\/a>\u00a0razed Ehime Mbano LGA police divisional headquarters.
