Excludes SE In 7man Operational Planning"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ahead of Friday&#8217;s formal presentation of the new Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba to President Muhammadu Buhari, the IGP has constituted a 7 man committee headed by a Deputy Inspector General of Police, Tijani Baba to evolve a new operational plan towards curtailing internal security threats to the country.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">In a leaked signal number\u00a0SB.0900\/IGP.SEC\/ABJ \/VOL.66\/345\u00a0sent to all police formations, the 7 man committee has no officer from the Southeast region, thus raising the suspicion that a full fledged war is being planned against the Southeast.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The IGP tasked the committee to also &#8220;review the security situation of the country in relation to insurgency and banditry secessionist threats.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">&#8220;Examine current strategies;
