{"id":81053,"date":"2021-05-23T19:38:18","date_gmt":"2021-05-23T18:38:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=81053"},"modified":"2021-05-23T19:38:18","modified_gmt":"2021-05-23T18:38:18","slug":"breaking-gunmen-abduct-tasued-lecturer-funaab-student-others","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/breaking-gunmen-abduct-tasued-lecturer-funaab-student-others\/","title":{"rendered":"BREAKING: Gunmen abduct TASUED lecturer, FUNAAB student, others"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gunmen have abducted the Deputy Director of Information Communication Technology of Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijebu-Ode, Mrs. Lateefat Abimbola, a student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Toyinbo Olayinka, and two others.<\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nWhile Abimbola was kidnapped in Ijebu-Ode on Thursday, Olayinka \u2013 who is a 400-level student of Aquaculture and Fisheries Management was abducted on Saturday from a farm at Abule-Itoko on the Abeokuta-Ibadan Road in Odeda Local Government area of Ogun State.<\/p>\n<p>Olayinka was reportedly kidnapped along with the owner of the private farm, identified as Dominic, and a 17-year-old Togolese lady.<\/p>\n<p><a dir=\"ltr\" href=\"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/\">Pointblanknews.com<\/a>\u00a0gathered that the abductors of the FUNAAB student and two others have contacted the wife of the farm manager, demanding N50m ransom from each of the three.<\/p>\n<p>On the TASUED lecturer\u2019s abduction, a source explained that Abimbola was abducted last week Thursday around 7 pm at a junction next to her home in Ijebu-Ode.<\/p>\n<p>The source further told our correspondent that her abductors had not reached out to the family.<\/p><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nThe source said, \u201cTill now, we have not heard from the abductors.
