{"id":81565,"date":"2021-06-03T18:19:25","date_gmt":"2021-06-03T17:19:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=81565"},"modified":"2021-06-03T18:19:25","modified_gmt":"2021-06-03T17:19:25","slug":"pdp-accuses-uzodinma-of-masterminding-killings-in-imo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/other-news\/pdp-accuses-uzodinma-of-masterminding-killings-in-imo\/","title":{"rendered":"PDP accuses Uzodinma of masterminding killings in Imo"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo has accused the State Governor, Hope Uzodinma of allegedly being responsible for the series of extrajudicial killings in the state.<\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nThe opposition party asked the governor to account for the killing of innocent civilians in the state.<\/p>\n<p>The Imo state PDP Chairman, Charles Ugwu made the allegations while briefing newsmen on Thursday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He alleged that the governor failed to address the security issues in the state because he was masterminding them.<\/p>\n<p>He regretted that prominent sons and daughters of Imo had been killed within a space of one month and the governor has done nothing about it.<\/p><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n\u201cThe governor has to tell us what he knows about the gruesome murder of the Oru-east PDP Youth Leader as well as that of his friend, Alhaji Ahmed Gulak.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201cThere is no gainsaying that the Uzodinma-led government lacks the competence and willpower to protect the lives of the people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe, therefore, urge the federal government to set up a panel to investigate the governor to find out the root cause of the extrajudicial killings in Imo State.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMeanwhile, we appeal to all Imolites to remain calm and prayerful in this trying period.<\/p>\n<div class=\"yj6qo\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"adL\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo has accused the State Governor, Hope Uzodinma of allegedly being responsible for the series of extrajudicial killings in the state.
