{"id":81916,"date":"2021-06-09T16:33:52","date_gmt":"2021-06-09T15:33:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=81916"},"modified":"2021-06-09T16:33:52","modified_gmt":"2021-06-09T15:33:52","slug":"buhari-receives-made-in-nigeria-cell-phonemail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/buhari-receives-made-in-nigeria-cell-phonemail\/","title":{"rendered":"Buhari receives made in Nigeria Cell Phonemail"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday received the first made in Nigeria cell phone, known as ITF Mobile.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Minister of Industry, trade and Investment, Adeniyi Adebayo presented the phone to the President, before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Adebayo said the phone was one of the twelve produced, using locally sourced components, by the Electrical\/Electronics Technology Department of the Industrial Training Fund\u2019s (ITF) Model Skills Training Centre.<\/p>\n<p>According to him,\u201cTwelve indigenous mobile cell phones produced by the Model Skills Training Centre of the Industrial Training Fund; an agency under Ministry of Industry Trade and Investment was launched.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt gives me great pleasure Mr President, to present you with one of the phones.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The President also presided over the swearing-in of one Commissioner each, for the National Population Commission and the Federal Civil Service Commission ahead of deliberations at the Council meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Those sworn-in were Wakil Bukar as Commissioner of the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCC) and Mohammed Dattijo Usman as Commissioner of the National Population Commission (NPC).<\/p>\n<p>Bukar, replaced the FCC<br \/>\nCommissioner from Bauchi State while Usman replaced the NPC Commissioner from Niger State. The replaced two representatives died recently.<\/p>\n<p>The council meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari commenced immediately at the conference room of the First Lady\u2019s office.<\/p>\n<p>Physically present at the meeting are Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Boss Mustapha and Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Gambari.<\/p>\n<p>Others include the Ministers of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed; Finance, Zainab Ahmed, Justice, Abubakar Malami and Trade and investment; Niyi Adebayo.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan and other Ministers are participating in the weekly cabinet meeting from their various offices in Abuja.<\/p>\n<div class=\"yj6qo\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"adL\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday received the first made in Nigeria cell phone, known as ITF Mobile.
