{"id":82445,"date":"2021-06-19T19:47:23","date_gmt":"2021-06-19T18:47:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=82445"},"modified":"2021-06-19T19:47:23","modified_gmt":"2021-06-19T18:47:23","slug":"labour-party-crisis-nlc-claims-party-ownership-warns-politicians-against-anambra-guber-election","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/labour-party-crisis-nlc-claims-party-ownership-warns-politicians-against-anambra-guber-election\/","title":{"rendered":"Labour Party Crisis: NLC claims party ownership, warns politicians against Anambra guber election"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1703021496875021825\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<p>Comrade Jerry Nnubia, Chairman\u00a0of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Anambra State Chapter, says its political party is not for sale and warned those parading themselves as party officers in the state to desist forthwith ahead of Nov. 6 Anambra state governoship election.<\/p>\n<p>Nnubia made the disclosure in Awka on Saturday, while stressing that NLC owned the party and its structure nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>The immediate past president of Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) said that Labour Party was duly registered and nurtured by Nigeria Labour Congress and would not allow anybody or group to hijack it.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We received the report of an ongoing scam by some persons who claim to be national officers of the Labour Party.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We understand that these persons led by one Mr Julius Abure have been sneaking around Anambra state soliciting for money from governorship aspirants on Nov. 6 Anambra state gubernatorial election.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We wish to publicly state that these characters are unknown to Labour Party in Anambra state.
