Mai Mala-Buni of Yobe and Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC), Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee has promised to reconcile aggrieved members of the party in Kwara.<\/p>\n<p>Mala-Buni stated this in a statement by his Director-General, Press and Media Affairs, Alhaji Mamman Mohammed.<\/p>\n<p>The statement said the governor made the pledge when he received Senators Ibrahim Oloriegbe (Kwara Central), Oyelola Ashiru (Kwara South), and Sadiq Suleiman-Umar (Kwara North).<\/p>\n<p>It said that the meeting centered on promoting unity in the party in the state.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe national leadership of the party will continue to support unity and progress of APC in Kwara State.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;As you are aware; the Caretaker Committee is repositioning the party, reconciling differing opinions to build strong and united membership that will improve the fortunes of our party.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe leadership of the party has great respect for due process, discipline and all programs that will contribute to making it stronger,\u201d Mala-Buni was quote as saying in the statement.<\/p>\n<p>The statement also quoted the senators as assuring that they would continue to promote unity among members of the party in the state<\/p>\n<p>&#8221; The senators commended the governor for giving the party the desired leadership with a sense of direction.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey promised to use their positions to help build a strong APC in Kwara State and to contribute meaningfully in the parliament to support the APC-led government towards improving the lives of Nigerians,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gov.
