{"id":84157,"date":"2021-07-28T21:41:36","date_gmt":"2021-07-28T20:41:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=84157"},"modified":"2021-07-28T21:41:36","modified_gmt":"2021-07-28T20:41:36","slug":"court-remands-man-for-allegedly-defiling-three-daughters-in-anambra","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/court-remands-man-for-allegedly-defiling-three-daughters-in-anambra\/","title":{"rendered":"Court remands man for allegedly defiling three daughters in Anambra"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 48-year-old man, Igbo Thomas, has been remanded at the Awka Correctional Centre, Anambra State for allegedly defiling his three daughters.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas who hails from Enugu State allegedly committed the offence at Enuoji village in Enugwu Ukwu, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.<\/p>\n<p>The Anambra State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps had on May 24, 2021 arrested the suspect at Okolo Ani village Igbo Etiti Local Government Area of Enugu State for the offence.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect who reportedly confessed to the crime, blamed his action on the influence of alcohol .<\/p>\n<p>The NSCDC Commandant, Vincent Ogu, had ordered for discrete investigation into the matter before the suspect would be charged.<\/p>\n<p>The NSCDC state Public Relations Officer , Edwin Okadigbo, in a statement on Wednesday, said the suspect was arraigned at the High Court, Awka on Wednesday and was ordered to be remanded at the Correctional Centre by the Judge.<\/p>\n<p>Okadigbo said \u201cIt will be recalled that on 24\/5\/2021 Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Anambra State Command arrested one Mr. Igbo Thomas of Okolo Ani village Igbo Etiti LGA Enugu State for allegedly having canal knowledge of his three daughters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUpon conclusion of thorough investigation, the suspect was arraigned at the State High Court Awka and has been remanded at Awka Correctional Centre by the Judge.<\/p>\n<div class=\"yj6qo\"><\/div>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A 48-year-old man, Igbo Thomas, has been remanded at the Awka Correctional Centre, Anambra State for allegedly defiling his three daughters.
