{"id":84717,"date":"2021-08-12T23:05:09","date_gmt":"2021-08-12T22:05:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=84717"},"modified":"2021-08-12T23:05:09","modified_gmt":"2021-08-12T22:05:09","slug":"niger-delta-avengers-attack-oil-installations-kill-security-operatives","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/niger-delta-avengers-attack-oil-installations-kill-security-operatives\/","title":{"rendered":"Niger Delta Avengers attack oil installations, Kill Security Operatives"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>A heavy shooting was recorded in some oil installations in Bayelsa by suspected outlawed Niger Delta Avenger, NDA early hours of Thursday.<\/div>\n<div>\nPointblanknews.com reported that the NDA had on June 27 threatened that they would return with \u201cOperation Humble\u201d which is similar to its \u201cOperation Red\u201d of 2016, designed to destroy oil installations.<\/div>\n<div>\nIn a statement released on its website on Saturday, the NDA threatened to crash the country\u2019s economy and send it in to a permanent recession.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>A statement sighted on the group\u2019s acclaimed website had stated that they would attack politicians working and collaborating with the Federal Government \u201cto undermine the interest of the Niger Delta region.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The group bemoaned the fact that the region had remained neglected despite its rich resources, stressing that its fresh violent onslaught against oil installations will shake the economy.<\/p>\n<p>The NDA are a militant group in the Niger Delta region.<\/p><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>A video of the attack which has been trending where an unspecified number of casualties were recorded has also been seen by our correspondent.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The Nigerian military authority is yet to respond to enquires on the development more than 12 hours after the incident.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A heavy shooting was recorded in some oil installations in Bayelsa by suspected outlawed Niger Delta Avenger, NDA early hours of Thursday.
