{"id":85634,"date":"2021-09-06T11:07:54","date_gmt":"2021-09-06T10:07:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=85634"},"modified":"2021-09-06T11:07:54","modified_gmt":"2021-09-06T10:07:54","slug":"cjn-meets-six-chief-judges-on-conflicting-judgments-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/cjn-meets-six-chief-judges-on-conflicting-judgments-today\/","title":{"rendered":"CJN meets six chief judges on conflicting judgments today"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m5632\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Chief Justice of Nigeria and the Chairman of the National Judicial Council, Tanko Muhammad, will meet with six state chief judges on Monday (today), over conflicting court decisions that emerged from their jurisdictions.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal  \" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nThere are also indications that the CJN will meet with the leadership of the Nigerian Bar Association within the week regarding the development.<\/p>\n<p>The Director of Information, National Judicial Council, Soji Oye, confirmed this development to newsmen, Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can confirm that the CJN will be meeting with the chief judges tomorrow (Monday).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen the CJN summoned the chief judges, the NBA also stated that they were coming to meet the CJN on the same issue.
