{"id":85954,"date":"2021-09-14T17:56:56","date_gmt":"2021-09-14T16:56:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=85954"},"modified":"2021-09-14T17:56:56","modified_gmt":"2021-09-14T16:56:56","slug":"soldier-shot-dead-as-bandits-abduct-woman-children-in-zaria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/soldier-shot-dead-as-bandits-abduct-woman-children-in-zaria\/","title":{"rendered":"Soldier Shot Dead As Bandits Abduct Woman, Children In Zaria"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">Bandits have killed a soldier and abducted a housewife and her two children at Milgoma opposite Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Shika Zaria, Kaduna State.<\/p>\n<p>Pointblanknews.com gathered that the soldier died at an undisclosed hospital following the injuries sustained in a gun duel with the attackers.<\/p>\n<p>The incident happened around 9pm on Monday, according to residents.<\/p>\n<p>According to a reliable source in the community, the bandits, numbering<br \/>\nabout 30, armed with sophisticated weapons shot sporadically as they<br \/>\nattacked the community.<\/p>\n<p>He said the joint personnel of Kaduna State Vigilance Service, Military and Police swiftly responded to the distress call, adding that on sighting the security agencies, the bandits engaged them in shootout that led to the soldier\u2019s death.<\/p>\n<p>There was no report of casualties on the side of the bandits as at the<br \/>\ntime of filing this report.<\/p>\n<p>Malam Haruna Shika, a resident, said six kidnapped children were rescued at Kasuwan Da\u2019a in Zaria by the security operatives.<\/p><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nHowever, Lt.
