{"id":86130,"date":"2021-09-20T15:03:11","date_gmt":"2021-09-20T14:03:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=86130"},"modified":"2021-09-20T15:03:11","modified_gmt":"2021-09-20T14:03:11","slug":"breaking-abba-kyari-committed-no-crime-igp-panel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/breaking-abba-kyari-committed-no-crime-igp-panel\/","title":{"rendered":"BREAKING: Abba Kyari Committed No Crime \u2014 IGP Panel"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1711427852881976493\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Embattled Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari may not be extradited to United State as it could not be established that he committed a crime according to a panel set up by the Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba Alkali.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Recall that the IGP had set up a panel to look into an indictment on Kyari by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI over his alleged ties with notorious fraudster, Ramon Olorunwa Abass popularly known as Hushpuppi.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Pointblanknews.com had earlier reported that Kyari landed in trouble after the indictment was made public by FBI. He was indicted by a US court for being a conspirator in a $1.1 million fraud setup by Hushpuppi against a Qatari businessman.In response to the development, the IGP setup a special panel to investigate Kyari. The panel was headed by DIG Joseph Egbunike. The Panel in a report submitted in August, established that there was communication between Kyari and Hushpuppi as well as infractions on the part of the former IRT boss.<\/p>\n<p>The panel,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/pointblanknews.com&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1632231192435000&amp;usg=AFQjCNF_mTCDM5ORE11xsQSiQE_fWq1kLw\">pointblanknews.com<\/a>\u00a0gathered didn\u2019t recommend the extradition of Kyari as it couldn\u2019t be established that the decorated police officer committed any crime in the US.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">There is no proof that he committed any crime on the soil of the US to warrant his extradition. He will be sanctioned by the appropriate authorities here.
