{"id":86151,"date":"2021-09-20T19:01:22","date_gmt":"2021-09-20T18:01:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=86151"},"modified":"2021-09-20T19:01:22","modified_gmt":"2021-09-20T18:01:22","slug":"n3bn-slop-oil-sale-cnpp-commends-presidency-over-invitation-to-nnpc-gmd-insists-on-open-investigation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/n3bn-slop-oil-sale-cnpp-commends-presidency-over-invitation-to-nnpc-gmd-insists-on-open-investigation\/","title":{"rendered":"N3bn Slop Oil Sale: CNPP Commends Presidency over Invitation to NNPC GMD, Insists on Open Investigation"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1711439370620289366\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\">Conference of Nigeria Political Parties (CNPP) has said a report on the<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \">\n<div class=\"clear\">summoning of the Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National<br \/>\nPetroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mele Kyari, to the presidential Villa over<br \/>\nthe suspicious N3 billion slop oil sale is a welcome development.<\/p>\n<p>The CNPP, in a statement issued in Abuja by its Secretary-General, Chief<br \/>\nWilly Ezugwu, insisted that President Muhammadu Buhari should summon the<br \/>\ncourage to institute a public enquiry into the fishy deal.<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement, &#8220;the Presidency has taken the right step by<br \/>\nsummoning the Group Managing Director of the NNPC, Mallam Mele Kyari as<br \/>\nreported in the media but President Muhammadu Buhari must go beyond<br \/>\nsecret enquiries.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We demand a full open investigation into the matter.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The CNPP and a coalition of national civil society organisations had<br \/>\nissued a statement of the development.
