The IGP made this known, today, 21st September, 2021, during the flag-off of the One \u2013 Nigerian \u2013 One \u2013 Tree, National Tree Planting Initiative, in the Federal capital Territory, Abuja.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<p>The IGP, while noting that there is a strong connection between climate change and internal security, observed that human activities including<br \/>\ndesertification, deforestation and other elements of climate change, are major drivers of poverty, crimes and insecurity generally.
