Yari\u2019s Chief of Staff, in a statement in Gusau, said that the Social media posts on the former governor\u2019s purported plan to defect to the People\u2019s Democratic Party (PDP) is a hoax.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo our concerned party members, friends, associates and the general public, our attention has been drawn to the false news being circulated over social media and some print media by some unscrupulous and under-baked attention seeking moronic elements.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor the records, there has never been a time that the former Governor of Zamfara, Abdul\u2019aziz Yari ever had anything to do with the PDP.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe has always been, right from his early days in politics, with the All People Party (APP), All Nigerian People\u2019s Party (ANPP)), All Progressive Congress (APC) and has never had interest in being a member of the PDP,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8221; It has become imperative that we address all these disjointed and sickening rumors for the umpteenth time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are saying that these accusations of the former governor sharing cars, monies and making threats to some PDP members are nothing but false, baseless, laughable, lacks bearing and lies from the pit of Lucifer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNote that as a seasoned politician, Abdul\u2019aziz Yari would never engage in any anti\/multi party activities neither would he break the party oath just to score some cheap points,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>&#8221; These are the handiworks of mischief makers who are bent on tarnishing his image.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese lies and their uncooked rumours will not stop His Excellency from working with our APC members in achieving success in the days ahead.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet it also be known that this does not affect or change his Excellency\u2019s intention and decision to run for the National chairmanship of our great party, the APC.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are not asking rumour mongers not to cook up lies as that is their daily dish and means of survival, but that when they do, they should borrow senses from history.<\/p>\n<p>&#8221; Abdul\u2019aziz Abubakar Yari still remains unshakable, unbeatable and unmovable InshaAllahu,\u201d Abdulkarim-Tsafe said.<\/p>\n<div id=\"m_697809482556405183ymail_android_signature\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-footer spacer collapsible\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Former Zamfara state Governor, Alhaji Abdul\u2019aziz Yari, has said he has no plans to defect from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to any other political party.
