{"id":88626,"date":"2021-11-16T14:31:53","date_gmt":"2021-11-16T13:31:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=88626"},"modified":"2021-11-16T14:31:53","modified_gmt":"2021-11-16T13:31:53","slug":"forms-for-ekitiosun-governorship-elections-cost-n22-5m-apc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/forms-for-ekitiosun-governorship-elections-cost-n22-5m-apc\/","title":{"rendered":"Forms for Ekiti,Osun governorship elections cost N22.5m \u2013 APC"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">The All Progressives Congress has commenced sales of expression of Interest and nomination forms for Ekiti and Osun governorship elections at its national secretariat in Abuja.<\/p>\n<p>National Secretary,APC Caretaker and Extra-ordinary Convention Planning Committee, John Akpanudodehe, made the disclosure on Tuesday in Abuja.<\/p>\n<p>Akpanudodehe disclosed that while the nomination form would sell for N20 million, the expression of interest form would cost N2.5 million.<\/p>\n<p>He said the announcement followed the party\u2019s approval of timetable and schedule of activities for the Ekiti and Osun governorship elections.<\/p>\n<p>He however, added that female and physically challenged aspirants would pay 50 per cent of the aporoved fees.<\/p>\n<p>He said the party\u2019s approved election timetable and schedule of activities for the election in the two states, was in accordance with the provisions of the amended Electoral Act 2010 and Independent National Electoral Commision guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>The APC scribe said while sales of forms for Ekiti governorship election began at the party\u2019s national secretariat on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, the last day for submission of completed forms and accompanying documents would be on Tuesday, January 11,2022.<\/p><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nHe said, \u201cPrimary election will be on Saturday January 22, 2022, while election appeal is on Wednesday January 26, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor Osun State, notice of election to the State Chapter will be on Wednesday November 17, 2021, while sale of forms will begin at APC National Secretariat on Thursday November 18, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLast day for submission of completed forms for Osun governorship election and accompanying documents at APC national secretariat will be on Friday February 18, 2022, while screening of aspirants will be Februaru 22, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>According to the approved election timetable and schedule of activities, primary election for Osun State would hold on Saturday March 5, 2022 while election appeal would be on Thursday March 10, 2022.<\/p><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">INEC has fixed June 18, 2022 for Ekiti governorship election and July 16, 2022 for the same exercise in Osun.<\/p>\n<div class=\"yj6qo\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"adL\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The All Progressives Congress has commenced sales of expression of Interest and nomination forms for Ekiti and Osun governorship elections at its national secretariat in Abuja.
