{"id":89158,"date":"2021-11-27T09:48:19","date_gmt":"2021-11-27T08:48:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=89158"},"modified":"2021-11-27T09:48:19","modified_gmt":"2021-11-27T08:48:19","slug":"woman-supplying-arms-ammunition-to-bandits-in-zamfara-arrested","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/woman-supplying-arms-ammunition-to-bandits-in-zamfara-arrested\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman Supplying Arms, Ammunition To Bandits in Zamfara Arrested"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1717561842059255229\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">A 30-year-old woman over suspected to be supplying arms and ammunition to bandits in Zamfara State has been arrested by the police.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \">\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Parading the suspect in Gusau, the Commissioner of Police in the state, Ayuba\u00a0 Elkana said the woman, Fatima Lawali was arrested on Thursday, October 25 at about 9.30 pm.The woman, who hails from the Kaura-Namoda Local Government Area of the state, was nabbed with 991 rounds of AK-47 live ammunition.<\/p>\n<p>According to the police authorities, she was conveying the ammunition from Dabagi Village in Sokoto State to be delivered to a notorious bandits\u2019 kingpin called Ado Alero who has been terrorising Zamfara and neighbouring states.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn 25th October 2021 at about 0930hrs, Police Tactical Operatives of the Command in collaboration with FIB\/STS led by DSP Hussaini Gimba on Tactical Operations in the state, arrested one Fatima Lawali, F, a native of K\/Namoda LGA of Zamfara State,\u201d the police commissioner said.<\/p>\n<p>Fatima specialised in supplying arms and ammunition to Bandits in Zamfara, Sokoto, Kebbi, Kaduna, Katsina, and Niger states.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe suspect was arrested at Gada Biyu area, under Bungudu LGA with nine hundred and ninety-one (991) rounds of AK-47 live ammunition conveying from Dabagi Village in Sokoto State to be delivered to a notorious bandits\u2019 kingpin called Ado Alero who has been terrorising Zamfara and neighbouring states.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"m_4451500793851651393ymail_android_signature\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A 30-year-old woman over suspected to be supplying arms and ammunition to bandits in Zamfara State has been arrested by the police.
