Engr. Ahmadu Musa\u00a0Kida rose through set cadre, occupying the strategic GM projects position,\u00a0when the industry was at its peak of foundational infrastructural growth to harness the enormous gas reserves that abound within the Nigerian acreages.\u00a0He went on to seta niche for himself by providing sound leadership, profound managerial oversight, excellent social relationships and above all,\u00a0well placed skills,\u00a0as he navigated through his years of service to one of the greatest oil and gas company of this millennium.<\/p>\n

I was privileged\u00a0as a young engineer wrapping up his MSc. In Petroleum Engineering and internship in the company,\u00a0to have crossed paths with this great and outstanding leader 18 years ago and for the first time in my life,\u00a0I encountered a detribalized human being,\u00a0who not only took interest in mentoring young\u00a0engineers butgo even further to help them realise and actualize their\u00a0full potentials in respect to inherent skills they posses,that would propel them to self fulfillment. He represented\u00a0and still do today,\u00a0every\u00a0facet\u00a0of a complete human that saw all as equal,\u00a0same,\u00a0and good under Almighty God. I knew from that first\u00a0instancesof interacting with him,\u00a0that he will surely leave the company as one of the\u00a0topmost\u00a0officials before retirement.<\/p>\n

I guess the service\u00a0event catalogued in few picturesdoes justice to expectations\u00a0I had\u00a018 years ago\u00a0and furthermore\u00a0open\u00a0new expectations that his service and extensive goodwill will be sought for and brought to bear to help in\u00a0fixing\u00a0the Nigerian nation, which is in dire need of perfect, experienced,\u00a0tried,\u00a0and trusted professionals of his pedigree.\u00a0I look with utmost and exciting optimism into the near future, where the Nigerian nation would get to enjoy the benefits of having\u00a0such an enigma of perfection, forthrightness and decency playing a huge role in the central government of our dear nation.<\/p>\n

I always address you in all fora as my BOSS, MENTOR, UNCLE and above all one of the THREE MOST TRUSTED Confidants\u00a0(after Chief. John\u00a0Odigie\u00a0Oyegun\u00a0and Dr.\u00a0Anyanate\u00a0Alalibo\u00a0Ephraim)\u00a0that touched my life in special ways,\u00a0allowing\u00a0God Almighty to\u00a0use you to\u00a0bless me\u00a0and\u00a0mould me into what I have become today.<\/p>\n
