{"id":89619,"date":"2021-12-08T15:21:30","date_gmt":"2021-12-08T14:21:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=89619"},"modified":"2021-12-08T15:21:30","modified_gmt":"2021-12-08T14:21:30","slug":"sylvester-change-dowen-mgt-college-parents-demand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/sylvester-change-dowen-mgt-college-parents-demand\/","title":{"rendered":"Sylvester: Change Dowen Mgt, College Parents Demand"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1718573464583289995\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The parents\u2019 forum at Dowen College, Lagos State has demanded a change of the school management as well as the hostel teachers following the unfortunate incident that led to the death of its student, Sylvester Oromoni.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"clear\">The parents also announced that a candlelight session would hold on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, in honour of Oromoni.The parents, in a statement jointly signed by Aituaz Kola, Waheed Adeoye, Oluwaseun Bolanle Ajila and Kingsley Kema Agu expressed deep sadness over his demise while calling on the authority for justice regardless of the social status of whoever is involved.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe urge the school management team and other stakeholders (students and parents directly or indirectly mentioned) to fully cooperate with the authority in the ongoing investigation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat happened to Sylvester could have happened to any other child in the school.
