{"id":90280,"date":"2021-12-29T16:52:21","date_gmt":"2021-12-29T15:52:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=90280"},"modified":"2021-12-29T16:52:21","modified_gmt":"2021-12-29T15:52:21","slug":"fg-planning-to-eliminate-me-igboho","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/fg-planning-to-eliminate-me-igboho\/","title":{"rendered":"FG planning to eliminate me \u2014 Igboho"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">Yoruba nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has alleged a plot by the Federal government of Nigeria to eliminate him in the Benin Republic.<\/p>\n<p>Recall that Igboho, 49, was arrested by operatives of Brigade Criminelle (Criminal Brigade) on July 19 in Cotonou.<\/p>\n<p>Despite efforts to get him released, he has spent over 161 days in detention.<\/p>\n<p>Olayomi Koiki, spokesman of Igboho, in a podcast on Tuesday evening, alleged that the Benin Republic President Patrice Talon was working with the Federal Government to extradite Igboho to Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cSo many people have heard rumours in the past 24\/48 hours. We know that God almighty is watching.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf they are trying, they cannot be successful. If they are planning evil against Prof. Banji Akintoye and others, they are only trying but God\u2019s power is superior.<\/p><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n\u201cThe enemies are trying to eliminate him (Igboho). Their plan is to eliminate him so that the Yoruba Nation agenda will be silenced, but God has shown that he is above them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you think the legal route is what will set Igboho free, then we are wasting our time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBenin Republic judicial system is not working. Look at the way his case has been prolonged.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve spoken with our lawyer in Benin, and he told me that only the president can set him free.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow, diplomacy cannot work.
