{"id":90744,"date":"2022-01-15T10:05:38","date_gmt":"2022-01-15T09:05:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=90744"},"modified":"2022-01-15T10:05:38","modified_gmt":"2022-01-15T09:05:38","slug":"heda-petitions-efcc-over-abandoned-%e2%82%a61-2bn-ikom-specialist-hospital-project-calls-for-indepth-investigationl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/heda-petitions-efcc-over-abandoned-%e2%82%a61-2bn-ikom-specialist-hospital-project-calls-for-indepth-investigationl\/","title":{"rendered":"HEDA petitions EFCC over abandoned \u20a61.2bn Ikom Specialist Hospital project, calls for indepth investigationL"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Human and Environmental Development Agenda (HEDA Resource Centre) has petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate the alleged fraud, mismanagement of public funds, embezzlement, corruption and sharp practices, against Emostrade Engineering Limited for abandoning the \u20a61.2 billion Ikom Specialist Hospital Project in Ikom Local Government Area of Cross River State.<\/div>\n<div id=\"m#msg-f:1722007882205931708\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nChairman of HEDA, Mr. Olanrewaju Suraju, in a statement said the petition became indispensable following a report made by an online media, on November 19, 2021, which revealed that, \u201cIn 2012, the Federal Executive Council approved the sum of \u20a61.2 billion for the construction of a specialist hospital in Ikom Local Government Area in Cross-River State.
