{"id":90867,"date":"2022-01-18T17:53:48","date_gmt":"2022-01-18T16:53:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=90867"},"modified":"2022-01-18T17:53:48","modified_gmt":"2022-01-18T16:53:48","slug":"biafra-allow-nnamdi-kanu-change-his-clothes-exercise-judge-orders-dss","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/biafra-allow-nnamdi-kanu-change-his-clothes-exercise-judge-orders-dss\/","title":{"rendered":"Biafra: Allow Nnamdi Kanu change his clothes, exercise \u2013 Judge orders DSS"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">&#8230;arraignment\u00a0adjourned till Wednesday<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Federal High Court on Tuesday ordered the Department of State Services, DSS, to allow Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, change his clothes.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">She gave the order after Kanu\u2019s lead Counsel, Mike Ozekhome, informed her of how the DSS was treating Kanu in custody.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nSpeaking during Tuesday\u2019s proceedings, Ozikhome disclosed that the IPOB leader was still subjected to solitary confinement, adding that inmates who greeted him were subjected to the same treatment.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nResponding, the judge directed the DSS to allow the IPOB leader enjoy some comfort.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nJustice Nyako, however, informed the defence Counsel that a detention facility is not a five-star hotel.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n\u201cI don\u2019t want to see him in these clothes again. This one is almost off-white.
