{"id":91677,"date":"2022-02-09T09:23:06","date_gmt":"2022-02-09T08:23:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=91677"},"modified":"2022-02-09T09:23:06","modified_gmt":"2022-02-09T08:23:06","slug":"jamb-shifts-utme-de-registration-exercise-to-february-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/jamb-shifts-utme-de-registration-exercise-to-february-19\/","title":{"rendered":"JAMB Shifts UTME\/DE Registration Exercise To February 19"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Joint Admission Examination Board (JAMB) has shifted the registration of the 2022\/23 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) by one week.<\/p>\n<p>The registration which was earlier scheduled to commence on February 12 will now begin by February 19.<\/p>\n<p>Head, Public Affairs and Protocol of JAMB, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, said the one-week postponement is to allow for more fine-tuning of the upgraded and more user-friendly procedures for candidates\u2019 registration.<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cThe commencement of the 2022\/23 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) Registration exercise earlier scheduled for Saturday, 12th February, 2022, has now been postponed to Saturday, 19th February, 2022 and to end on Saturday, 26th March, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe one-week postponement is to allow for more fine-tuning of the upgraded and more user-friendly procedures for candidates\u2019 registration. The process, which will be concluded within the one-week extension period, is also aimed at accommodating feedbacks from candidates and other stakeholders alike.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Board wishes the general public to note that the Board is ever-ready to provide world-class services to Nigerians.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFurther to the above, the new and improved procedures for the 2022\/23 UTME Registration would be made available on the Board\u2019s website, its weekly bulletin as well as other media outlets on Monday, 14th February, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe candidates, are by this notice, urged to follow keenly the procedures for registration as would be announced by the Board.\u201d<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Joint Admission Examination Board (JAMB) has shifted the registration of the 2022\/23 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) by one week.
