{"id":91957,"date":"2022-02-18T15:37:56","date_gmt":"2022-02-18T14:37:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=91957"},"modified":"2022-02-18T15:37:56","modified_gmt":"2022-02-18T14:37:56","slug":"abuja-popular-estate-demolished-contrary-to-court-order","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/abuja-popular-estate-demolished-contrary-to-court-order\/","title":{"rendered":"Abuja popular estate demolished contrary to court order"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">The Federal Capital Development Administration (FCDA) on Thursday leveled into rubbles a wing of popular estate in Abuja in disobedience\u00a0to an extant and clear orders of the FCT High Court.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Pointblanknews.com which witnessed the demolition reports that over a hundred military and para-military personnel, fully armed and accompanied by officials of the FCDA with a number of trucks moved into the estate a few minutes to 4 PM in a commando style to carry out the illegal demolition.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The developer of the estate, popularly known as JENEW Estate, Karsana, which shares boundary with Queens Estate in Gwarimpa neigbhourhood was said to be in dispute with the FCDA leading to the marking of over 60 choice properties for demolition.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">However, the developer according to sources available to Pointblanknews.com had dragged the FCT minister, FCDA and Abuja Metropolitan Management Council before Justice A. S.
