{"id":93070,"date":"2022-03-21T13:51:12","date_gmt":"2022-03-21T12:51:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=93070"},"modified":"2022-03-21T13:51:12","modified_gmt":"2022-03-21T12:51:12","slug":"convention-former-pgf-boss-lukman-favours-for-north-west-apc-chairman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/convention-former-pgf-boss-lukman-favours-for-north-west-apc-chairman\/","title":{"rendered":"Convention: Former PGF boss,\u00a0\u00a0Lukman\u00a0favours for North-west APC chairman"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1727911524836968392\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Immediate-past Director General of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) Salihu Moh Lukman, has declared interest to contest for the National Vice Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) at the forthcoming national convention.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The party&#8217;s national convention is slated for Saturday, March 26, 2022 in Abua.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The outspoken former PGF boss who hails from Kaduna state of North-west is said to be the state&#8217;s candidate for the office of the APC National Vice Chairman.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">According to APC zoning arrangement, North-west geo-political zone where mallam Lukman hails from is favoured with the position.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Described as a &#8220;viable unifier&#8221;, Lukman is said to possesses competence, dedication and intellectual capacity to emancipate the soul of APC.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">A political analyst, Ebenezer Olusegun Ijaodola, who posted the picture of Mallam Lukman on his Facebook page said the ruling APC needs the former PGF DG more &#8220;because of his ability to counter fake narratives from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Ijaodola added: &#8220;If APC knows what is good for her, the likes of Salihu Moh.
