{"id":93585,"date":"2022-04-03T21:00:43","date_gmt":"2022-04-03T20:00:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=93585"},"modified":"2022-04-03T21:00:43","modified_gmt":"2022-04-03T20:00:43","slug":"breaking-pdp-suspends-chris-uba-linus-ukachukwu-for-anti-party-activities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/breaking-pdp-suspends-chris-uba-linus-ukachukwu-for-anti-party-activities\/","title":{"rendered":"BREAKING: PDP Suspends Chris Uba, Linus Ukachukwu for anti party activities\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1729107182338940126\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<p>BREAKING: PDP Suspends Chris Uba, Linus Ukachukwu for anti party activities<\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Anambra State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended Chris Uba and Linus Ukachukwu, from the party.In a letter seen by Pointblanknews.com the two were suspended for attempting to destroy the party, among many allegations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Their suspension was announced after the party State Executive Council (EXCO) on Saturday, April 2, 2022, held a crucial meeting.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The letter addressed to the national chairman of the party, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, titled \u2018Suspension of Chief Chris Uba and Chief Linus Ukachukwu from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Anambra State Chapter\u2019 accused Uba and Ukachukwu of unimaginable damages to the electoral fortunes and stability of the party.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The letter which was signed by the Acting Chairman of the party in the state, Okey Asolo and the Publicity Secretary, Nnamdi Nwangwu, read, \u201cArising from our Executive Committee meeting held on 2nd day of April, 2022 at the Party Secretariat, Udoka Housing Estate, Awka and having thoroughly ex-rayed the problems of the Party and activities in respect of the forthcoming 2023 general elections.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201cOn further evaluation of the Party\u2019s electoral misfortunes in recent part vis-a-vis the anti-party activities, abuse of privileges of the above party members, who had previously caused unimaginable damages to the electoral fortunes and stability of our great Party.\u201cHaving satisfied that these characters are hell-bent on destroying the Party further by conspiring to turn the Party into the agent of the ruling governments through a very wicked and crooked manner.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHaving considered that this was how they scuttled the chances of our great Party (PDP) in the 2017 Governorship election, 2019 general elections where PDP failed woefully in the Senatorial and other elections in the constituencies where the above dramatis personae come from and most recently the 2021 gubernatorial election in Anambra State where they created factions within the Party and eventually produced a parallel governorship candidate and instituted several court actions against the Party in flagrant neglect of the Party\u2019s Constitutional provisions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201cInterestingly, as the 2023 general elections draw closer, these dramatis personae are at it again as they presently work in concert with other political parties to ensure that PDP goes into extinction in Anambra State as evidenced in their recent court actions.\u201cThe consequence of the above negative intents is that if they are allowed, PDP may not field candidates in the 2023 general elections as they have vowed to accomplish.
