{"id":93980,"date":"2022-04-15T23:20:28","date_gmt":"2022-04-15T22:20:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=93980"},"modified":"2022-04-15T23:20:28","modified_gmt":"2022-04-15T22:20:28","slug":"police-remand-two-suspects-for-stoning-judge-out-of-court","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/other-news\/police-remand-two-suspects-for-stoning-judge-out-of-court\/","title":{"rendered":"Police Remand Two Suspects For Stoning Judge Out of Court"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1730205151239600914\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Bayelsa state police command has confirmed the arrest of two suspects in connection with the invasion of the court proceedings in the state.<\/p>\n<p>Recall that suspected political thugs numbering over 30 on Thursday, disrupted proceedings in the hearing of a suit into the disputed ward, local government and state congresses of the All Progressives Congress (APC).<\/p><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">A statement by the police said the duo of Promise Ogilogi (male) and Azibabin Adiki (male) were arrested on April 13, 2022 in connection to the incident.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The statement says, \u201cThe Bayelsa State Police Command has remanded two suspects in prison custody for their involvement in the invasion of the Bayelsa State High court and attack on High court judge. The suspects; one Promise Ogilogi \u2018m\u2019 and Azibabin Adiki \u2018m\u2019 were arrested on 13 April 2022.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n\u201cThe Commissioner of Police, Bayelsa State Command, CP Ben Nebolisa Okolo, fdc has charged police operatives to intensify efforts to arrest the fleeing suspects and warn unequivocally, that the command is poised to deal decisively with anyone or group of persons who hide under any guise to disrupt the peace in the state.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n\u201cThe Command hereby assures members of the public, particularly the Judiciary that adequate security measures have been put in place to ensure the safety and sanctity of the courtroom and to forestall future occurrence,\u201d the statement added.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-footer spacer collapsible\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Bayelsa state police command has confirmed the arrest of two suspects in connection with the invasion of the court proceedings in the state.
