{"id":94205,"date":"2022-04-22T07:45:48","date_gmt":"2022-04-22T06:45:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=94205"},"modified":"2022-04-22T07:45:48","modified_gmt":"2022-04-22T06:45:48","slug":"200-guests-arrested-as-ndlea-raids-abuja-cannabis-party","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/200-guests-arrested-as-ndlea-raids-abuja-cannabis-party\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00a0200 Guests Arrested As NDLEA Raids Abuja Cannabis Party"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), has raided and sealed Diplomatic Suite Hotel, Asokoro, Abuja in a joint operation with men of the Department of State Services (DSS) to stop a cannabis party and the launch of a suspected new psychoactive drink.<\/p>\n<p>NDLEA spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, said about 200 attendees including three young ladies who organised the hemp party were being profiled and interviewed while bottles of the new drink have been taken for lab analysis.<\/p>\n<p>Babafemi ina statement on Thursday said, \u201cthe hotel was raided at about 8:18pm on Wednesday 20th April following actionable intelligence that some youths were planning to hold a hemp party at the hotel.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cQuantities of cannabis sativa were recovered from the pockets and bags of those arrested at the hemp party.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe audacious party no doubt is part of attempts by some elements to create a drug subculture in the Nigerian social space.
