{"id":94272,"date":"2022-04-24T15:47:05","date_gmt":"2022-04-24T14:47:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=94272"},"modified":"2022-04-24T15:47:05","modified_gmt":"2022-04-24T14:47:05","slug":"2023-pdp-heads-for-96th-nec-meeting-wednesday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/2023-pdp-heads-for-96th-nec-meeting-wednesday\/","title":{"rendered":"2023: PDP Heads For 96th NEC Meeting Wednesday."},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1730998165051290789\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ahead of its national convention slated for May 28 and 29, 2022 to elect a presidential candidate for the 2023 election, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has summoned 96th session of its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting for Wednesday, May 4, 2022.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"clear\">\nThe Benue state Governor, Samuel Ortom\u2019s 37-man zoning committee had submitted its report on April 13, 2022 to the National Working Committee (NWC) for onward transmission to the NEC.<\/p>\n<p>It was gathered that part of the agenda is consideration of the Ortom committee\u2019s report and the forthcoming national convention.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOf course, the major is consideration of the Ortom Committee\u2019s report, issues around our National Convention to elect presidential candidate will also be discussed,\u201d he said<\/p>\n<p>According to the source, \u201cAnother part of the agenda is a financial statement, especially the amount generated from sales of forms for aspirants, the composition of convention planning committee and other issues.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, PDP in a statement by its National Secretary, Sen. Samuel N.
