{"id":95450,"date":"2022-05-29T16:18:19","date_gmt":"2022-05-29T15:18:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=95450"},"modified":"2022-05-29T16:18:19","modified_gmt":"2022-05-29T15:18:19","slug":"atiku-timi-frank-congratulates-pdp-urges-party-to-remain-focused","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/atiku-timi-frank-congratulates-pdp-urges-party-to-remain-focused\/","title":{"rendered":"Atiku: Timi Frank congratulates PDP, urges party to remain focused\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1734173929162668866\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Timi Frank, on Sunday, congratulated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for conducting a free, fair, credible and transparent presidential primary election.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Frank in a statement in Abuja, congratulated ex-Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for winning the ticket as the Presidential candidate of PDP for 2023.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He also congratulated the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, former Senate President Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Anyim Pius Anyim and other presidential aspirants of the PDP for their sterling, courageous and patriotic performances during the convention.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He thanked them for stepping out to seek a platform to provide solutions to the myriad of challenges confronting the country, noting that all aspirants that participated in the primary are all winners.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He urged them to support the former Vice President to lead the party to victory.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He described Atiku\u2019s emergence as the presidential flag bearer of the PDP as the best thing that has happened to the party and the country since 1999.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He thanked the party\u2019s Adhoc delegates for voting for a man of experience, capacity, competence, reach, exposure and blueprint to return the PDP to power at the centre as well as rescue the country from imminent collapse.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Frank said: \u201cThe emergence of Atiku Abubakar as the Presidential flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party is not only commendable but a golden dawn for the party to bounce back to power.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201cThe PDP has gotten it absolutely right so far, all that remains is for the party to be focused, committed and resolute to achieve its aim of forming and administering the next government at the centre.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201cThere is no doubt that Atiku has all it takes to win votes to help the party realise its dream of returning to power, but the party needs to continue on the part of solidarity by making the necessary sacrifices to remain cohesive, united and impregnable to achieve the ultimate goal of occupying Aso Rock Villa in 2023.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201cWe thank all other presidential aspirants for their sacrifices and passion for a positive paradigm shift in the governance of the country. All of you are winners.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">We also commend all Adhoc delegates to the convention for listening to our plea to shun monetary inducements and vote according to their conscience and for voting for Atiku to emerge as the presidential candidate of the party.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201cThis is the time for the PDP to return to the drawing board, appease all aggrieved presidential aspirants and ensure that the party goes into the 2023 presidential election with a solid and united front.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201cWe are confident that Atiku has all it requires to ensure that the PDP wins the 2023 presidential election and return the PDP to power in 2023.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201cThis is the goal and the party cannot afford to allow sentiments, selfishness and divided loyalties to deny it of the ultimate prize.\u201d<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">According to him, Atiku is the Comforter that Nigerians have been praying and yearning for.
