{"id":95531,"date":"2022-05-30T15:08:41","date_gmt":"2022-05-30T14:08:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=95531"},"modified":"2022-05-30T15:08:41","modified_gmt":"2022-05-30T14:08:41","slug":"we-will-work-together-to-pick-a-vp-for-atiku-says-bot-chair","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/we-will-work-together-to-pick-a-vp-for-atiku-says-bot-chair\/","title":{"rendered":"We will work together to pick a VP for Atiku, says BoT chair.\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PDP BoT chairman, Walid Jibrin, said Monday that the NWC,\u00a0BoT, Atiku Abubakar, every aspirant at the convention, and every party member will jointly work to produce a running mate for the presidential candidate of the party.<\/p>\n<p>Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom, and Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, have started to feature on the list of who will eventually be picked as the running mate of Atiku.<\/p>\n<p>Atiku won the PDP presidential ticket for the 2023 general election during the party\u2019s special convention held at the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Jibrin revealed this via a statement, on Monday, saying Atiku\u2019s victory as the flag bearer in the 2023 presidential contest is a victory for the party as it portends success for the nation.<\/p>\n<p>The statement read in part: \u201cThe BoT also congratulates Sen.
