{"id":95534,"date":"2022-05-30T18:08:54","date_gmt":"2022-05-30T17:08:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=95534"},"modified":"2022-05-30T18:08:54","modified_gmt":"2022-05-30T17:08:54","slug":"telco-accountant-commits-suicide-in-lagos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/telco-accountant-commits-suicide-in-lagos\/","title":{"rendered":"Telco accountant commits suicide in Lagos"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">A female accountant with telecommunications giant, Glo, identified as Folake Abiola, has committed suicide in the Lekki area of Lagos State.<\/p>\n<p>Abiola was said to have committed by drinking a chemical substance suspected to be insecticide.<\/p>\n<p>The 47-year-old accountant, it was gathered, committed suicide at her residence in Osapa London, Lekki on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Confirming the incident, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, said police operatives visited Abiola\u2019s house and met her lifeless body on the floor.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the late Glo accountant was buried last Friday according to Islamic rites.<\/p>\n<p>Hundeyin said: \u201cThe moment the police in that area were alerted, they arrived at the scene and met the woman lifeless on the floor.
