{"id":95663,"date":"2022-06-02T22:39:28","date_gmt":"2022-06-02T21:39:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=95663"},"modified":"2022-06-02T22:39:28","modified_gmt":"2022-06-02T21:39:28","slug":"breaking-i-made-you-president-angry-tinubu-reminds-buhari-insists-on-winning-apc-presidential-ticket","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/breaking-i-made-you-president-angry-tinubu-reminds-buhari-insists-on-winning-apc-presidential-ticket\/","title":{"rendered":"BREAKING: I made you president, angry Tinubu reminds Buhari, insists on winning APC presidential ticket"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">For the first time, a leading presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has reminded President Muhammadu Buhari that without him, the president would never have won the election in 2015.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nIn a feat of rage, Tinubu said he singlehandedly made both Prof Yemi Osinbajo, Buhari\u2019s running mate and Dapo Abiodun, Ogun State Governor.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Tinubu, who appears to be in a war mode, made these remarks in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital where his closest challenger, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo hails from.<\/p>\n<p>Tinubu was in the company of Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his Kano counterpart, Umar Ganduje, and former Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima when\u00a0he made the revelations for the first time in Ogun, home state of Osinbajo, one of his rivals for the APC presidential ticket.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He said Buhari had offered him a running mate ticket, but some blocs rose against him, fanning the ember of a Muslim-Muslim ticket.<\/p>\n<p>The former governor also said when he was asked to submit three names for running mate, he pencilled down Yemi Cardoso, Wale Edun and Yemi Osinbajo.<\/p>\n<p>He added that he later settled for Osinbajo as running mate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou have not heard this from me before. This is the first place I am saying this,\u201d Tinubu who addressed the delegates in Yoruba said.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on Buhari\u2019s emergence, he said, \u201cIf not me that led the war front, Buhari wouldn\u2019t have emerged. He contested first, second and third time, but lost. He even said on television that he won\u2019t contest again.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut I went to his home in Katsina. I told him you would contest and win, but you won\u2019t joke with the matters of the Yorubas. Since he has emerged, I have not been appointed minister. I didn\u2019t get contract.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis time, it\u2019s Yoruba turn and in Yorubaland, it\u2019s my tenure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tinubu also said without God and him, Governor Dapo Abiodun would not have emerged in 2019 election.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDapo that\u2019s sitting down here, could he have become Governor without me? We were at the stadium, they tore all his posters.
